Terms of booking

1. General

These terms and conditions are applied to the website visitfazer.com (“Website”) and the contents of that website (hereafter jointly the “Service”), operated by Oy Karl Fazer Ab and its affiliates (“Fazer”).

2. Website visitfazer.com

Fazer Visitor Centre’s website visitfazer.com is a service available for companies and private persons, through which it is possible to make reservations for guided tours, conference rooms and different kind of events in the Fazer Visitor Centre (e.g. birthday parties, chocolate courses and cooking classes).

3. Reservations

Private persons and companies/associations/schools and other educational establishments can make reservation requests online on the Website by adding product(s) to the shopping cart. When the requested information has been provided and the request has been sent, Fazer Customer Service will confirm the reservation with a separate confirmation e-mail message or suggest another time if the requested time is not available.

The age limit for using the Service is 18 years. Reservations can be made either by logging in to the Service through a MyFazer-account or by going to the “I’m a private person” section of the Website and filling in the requested details. Companies, associations and educational establishments can make reservations by going to the “I represent a company, community or a school” section of the Website and providing the requested details.

Payment conditions:

Unless otherwise agreed, the Service will be paid with cash, debit or credit card via the online service available at the Website. In case the customer is Fazer’s customer with an existing invoicing relationship, the company can receive an invoice for the Services. Please note that the invoicing option is not available for private persons.

A new customer without an existing invoicing relationship shall provide Fazer with the following information two weeks before the event at the latest: The name of the payer, billing address and in case of a corporate customer, company’s business ID and possible reference information. Fazer verifies credit information of new corporate customers.
A billing charge used by Fazer will be added to the invoice. In case invoicing is used as a payment method, the charge for the whole group is always invoiced with the same invoice.

Cancellation terms:

After Fazer has confirmed the reservation, the reservation is binding. The customer may cancel the reservation. In case of cancellation, the following charges will apply:

21–8 days prior to the event

200€ + 24% VAT




If cancelation of reservation is done 0-14 days prior to event. OR if groups with over 30 persons has an attendance by 25 persons or under.

4. Personal data

Personal data is processed in accordance with the file description (Privacy policy) and is processed only for the purposes of saving the reservation and providing the Service. 

5.  Processing the reservation

The customer is obligated to provide his/her contact details when reservation request is made in the Service and to ensure that the provided contact details are up to date.

The reservation request is always preliminary until the customer receives a separate e-mail confirmation where the reservation is confirmed. Fazer’s customer service confirms the reservation or suggests another time if the time requested by the customer is not available. Communication between Fazer’s customer service and the customer will mainly be conducted by e-mail. The details of the reservation can also be agreed upon by phone.

6. Changes in Service

Fazer reserves the right to discontinue or suspend the Service at any time within a reasonable time from a discontinuation or suspension notice. Fazer reserves the right to make some such minor changes to the terms and conditions of Service, which will not significantly affect the customer.

7. Alternative Dispute Resolution

If a dispute concerning a sales contract cannot be resolved through negotiation between the parties, the consumer customer can submit the matter to the Consumer Disputes Board (http://www.kuluttajariita.fi/en/) for resolution.

Before taking the matter to the Consumer Disputes Board, the consumer should contact the Local Register Offices’ Consumer Advisory Service (www.kuluttajaneuvonta.fi).
